First celebrity I saw up close and personal in Seoul! and the funny thing is:

1) She doesn’t even live in Seoul

2) I couldn’t even recognize her at first

It was a usual Sunday at church and we sit in our usual place.  There wasn’t anyone behind us when we arrived but after the sermon, I noticed someone sitting behind us had a really good voice.  I didn’t glance behind me and thought I’d look later but ended up forgetting. Until after the service when TC also mentioned that she too noticed that the girl sitting behind us had such a good singing voice.  She had looked and said that she was also really pretty. 

But she had already left and I didn’t think too much of it.  After all, it’s not like everyday I think Jayesslee/Clara C is sitting behind me in service. We went upstairs because I really wanted to buy christmas sugar cookies. Haha when all you eat is kimchi and korean food, you will jump at anything that reminds you of home :) And that’s when we saw her again.  I thought she looked really familiar and just thought she was just someone I saw at church last week or sthg.  TC told us that that was the girl sitting behind us and then FG mentioned that she had seen her before - perhaps Youtube. And that’s when we started mad guessing whether or not it was her.  I still wasn’t 100% sure, What was she doing in Korea? and I didn’t know she went to church :P Thanks to free wi-fi, we searched up Youtube videos on the spot and confirmed it was her. HAHAHA i’m pretty sure she prob knew cause I bet we were stealing glances at her lots.

I wanted to talk to her since all Youtube stars are generally down-to-earth and super friendly.  But 2 people beat us to it and the last guy made it super awkward by asking for a photo.  We decided we didn’t wanna be annoying fans and scare her from coming to this church again.  So we left and headed for lunch.

Later, I decided to tweet her since I really just wanted to just tell her that she has a superb voice and what was even cooler was that she went to church! So while me and FG had Smoothie King after shopping, we spent like 5 mins coming up with a tweet that didn’t sound too creepy HAHAHA. oh the things we do

and to my surprise she replied!

This was almost as cool as meeting Kim Yuna! :) I think this is probably my first and last running-into celebrity moment since I am such a fail at recognizing people in Korea.  

If you don’t know Arden Cho, check her out! She really has a nice voice since I noticed it before actually realizing it was her! Someone who followed their dreams and is working hard towards achieving it :D mad props! Encourages me to chase after my own dreams of becoming a photographer who travels the world :)
